The Dress

Stylish yet simple Giselle bridal gown by well-known and respected bridal designer Wendy Sullivan. With her flagship store in Brisbane’s West End, Wendy has been designing bridal gowns for over two decades and it truly shows with this perfectly structured, beautiful gown that was an absolute pleasure to wear.

This stunning champagne gown is strapless, with a sweetheart shaped bust. It has a dropped waist bodice, fully boned corset and exquisite hand beading of pearls, crystal and diamantes. The dress has a pearl wristband so that you can easily sweep the small train up when necessary. It also includes a hidden bustle, so once the formalities are over you can button it up to dance the night away!

The dress is CHAMPAGNE COLOUR. Second photo is stock photo in ivory. The rest of the photos are mine. This dress was perfect for my darker skin colour. Those of you with olive toned skin searching for ‘THE’ dress should most definitely try on something in this colour, I received repeated comments from many guests throughout the day on just how striking the colour of the dress was against my skin tone.

The dropped waist bodice is both flattering to all shapes and feminine. It is fully boned with a lace-up back, so is adjustable to different body types and sizes and has the wonderful bonus of helping you feel secure in your dress all day (and night!). It was purchased for $2,400.

It has been dry cleaned post wedding and there are no visible stains or marks (including on the hemline).

Alterations

Alterations were made to bust for the following measurements:
Full bust: 36.5 Inches
Upper bust: 34 Inches
Under bust: 32.5 Inches

Length also altered slightly by less than 3cm, for my height which is 165 cm; however I wore very high heels on the day to accommodate my tall husband, so the length was only adjusted minimally. The corset feature of this dress means it is adjustable for different body sizesz
