The Dress

This gorgous and unique lace dress was perfect from the moment I found it at the Anna-Be bridal shop here in Denver. The fabric is the highest quality ivory lace over lightweight champagne colored silk, and drapes beautifully for a long, lean silhouette. The low back makes for a dramatic and slimming line, and I added a satin tie complementing the natural colors (included in the order, and a new tie of new color can easily be found online). The gorgeous lace train and fabric buttons are stunning; there's no shortcut to quality in craftsmanship, and this dress is a testament to that. Perhaps most importantly, it was the most comfortable dress I tried on. It's lightweight and has minimal boning to ensure the shape and position of the strapless neckline, but I didn't feel constricted and was able to dance the night away! It's a gorgeous dress for a formal wedding (the lace truly looks couture) or for a more casual setting (the clean lines make it elegant but not over-the-top). I heard over and over again that no one had seen a dress quite like it, with the unique colors and gorgeous lace. I hate to part with it... but hope it will bring as much joy to another bride!

The dress was custom made to my measurements provided above and listed in greater detail here; the only alterations were for the bustle. I did have cups sewn in at the first alteration, but did not like them and ended up removing them, opting instead for a strapless bra that looked more natural. Satin tie for the waist included; it was tailored to snap cleanly in the back with two buttons. The dress has been dry cleaned and preserved in a box, and will be sent to you in that same box, unopened and safe for storage until it reaches you! I have the original receipt from Anna Be.
