The Dress

Absolutely stunning Wendy Makin couture dress - 'Vivianna'. Beautifully fitted, gorgeous silk, and modern lace detailing on the bust, back and around the whole bottom hem, with a beautiful scalloped edge. It has quite a long train and can be bustled. The front and back necklines are a V shape, with buttons going half way down the back of the dress.

I loved wearing this dress. I was very sad to take it off at the end of the night, and I hope to give someone else the chance to feel as elegant and special as I did on my wedding day.

Dress is made to measure, I am about a size 12. I wear size 10-12 pants, and a DD bra. The dress had a tiny spaghetti strap added to it under the lace (visible in one of the photos, but was honestly unnoticeable on the day) to give a little support, as I was not wearing a bra.

The dress is technically a fishtail/mermaid style, but I consider it more of a subtle a-line.

It has been professionally dry cleaned. It will need to be ironed/pressed, prior to being worn again.

Included is the veil and headpiece, as shown in the photos. The veil is soft, simple and doesn't take away from the beautiful dress. The head piece looks like it was made for the dress, the lace is virtually exactly the same! My hairdresser did an amazing job of having the veil flow from the bottom of the headpiece.

Dress was $3,100, veil was $180, headpiece $90. Dry cleaning $350.

I am listing the dress for $1,500, although reasonable offers will be considered.

If you would like a beautiful, couture dress at a reduced cost, this is a wonderful option.
